Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national mining company for a GM, Business Development based in Jakarta. This senior executive role focuses on driving growth, managing stakeholder relationships, and guiding strategic projects across mining operations.

You will lead BD plans, oversee regulatory engagement and tender management, and partner with the Board of Directors to secure long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of combined experience in business development within mining, coal, energy, or related sectors.
• International business exposure is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic business development and growth initiatives across mining operations.
• Map regulatory requirements and manage government/stakeholder relationships to meet project milestones.
• Negotiate complex contracts and oversee tender management to secure favorable outcomes.
• Develop and monitor annual BD plans, budgets, and KPIs; drive performance and governance.
• Strengthen market expansion through strategic partnerships and market analytics.
