Job summary

Remote's Benefits team is seeking a Senior Benefits Compliance Specialist to establish the function and ensure programs meet country-specific regulatory requirements across our global footprint. You will partner with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Benefits Operations, and external advisors to design controls, conduct audits, and translate regulations into scalable processes for our products and operations.

Experience in benefits operations and compliance across countries.
Ability to design and implement compliance controls and documentation.
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Monitor benefits compliance across countries and mandatory insurance.
Audit benefits processes, vendor outputs, payroll inputs for gaps and risks.
Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Benefits Ops, and external advisors to implement compliant processes.
Identify non-compliance areas and drive remediation plans to resolution.
Develop and maintain compliance SOPs, country guidance, and audit trails.
Translate regulatory requirements into operational and product requirements for launches.
