Job summary

Japfa is seeking a Director of Remote Operations & Compliance to lead globally distributed teams in a fully remote capacity. You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems that support operational excellence while ensuring regulatory adherence across jurisdictions.

The role requires a JD or related master's degree and 10+ years in operations with a focus on risk management and compliance, plus proven experience guiding remote teams and international laws.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in operations management with regulatory compliance focus.
• Experience leading large, remote teams and complex compliance programs.
• Knowledge of international business laws and best practices.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies prioritizing compliance and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain compliance frameworks and auditing processes for remote ops.
• Lead a globally distributed team of operations and compliance professionals.
