Job summary

Avomind in Bali, Indonesia, is seeking a Senior Garment Tech & Pattern Maker to own end-to-end development from sketch to production-ready sample. You will lead fittings, pattern making, and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure fit, construction, and quality align with our sustainable brand values.

8–10+ years in garment tech, mastery across woven, knitwear, and intimates, plus proficiency in CLO 3D, Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel, is required. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in garment technical development and pattern making.
• Full mastery of pattern making across wovens, jersey, knitwear, intimates.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fitting processes.
• Deep understanding of grading and measurements.
• Ability to create and update technical packs independently.
• Proficient in CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and processes (certifications, recycled fibres, low-impact dyeing, etc.).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating technical comments and revisions directly with manufacturers.
• Deep understanding of garment costing and fabric consumption.
• English & Bahasa Indonesia proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own sample development end to end, from sketch to final sample.
• Create and/or oversee pattern making with full understanding of garment construction.
• Analyse fit comments and translate feedback into technical action points.
• Diagnose construction or fit issues and propose durable technical solutions.
• Lead fitting sessions: take measurements, notes, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with manufacturers on technical comments, corrections, and updates.
• Track sample development across stages and manage timelines and revisions.
• Mentor junior team members and manage multiple projects.
