Job summary

Faithfull the Brand Pty Ltd in Bali seeks a Senior Garment Technician to support the Development and Production teams. You will assist with fitting, pre-production sampling, and creating tech packs to ensure garments meet fit, function, and commercial launch needs.

An eye for fashion trends, garment fit, quality, and problem-solving is essential, with leadership skills to guide the team and ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Design, Pattern Making or Garment Technology is preferable.
• Experience with industry leading software (Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite) preferable.
• Strong pattern knowledge and understanding of sewing techniques.
• Solid knowledge in garment construction and fit.
• Minimum 3 years as Garment Technician or 5 years in fashion development/production.
• Strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication.
• Strong organizational skills to meet critical timelines.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and strong critical thinking.
• Leadership experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Garment Technician team’s daily tasks to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Attend SMS and PPS fit sessions with Design & Pattern team and provide fit comments.
• Create accurate technical drawings or flat sketches with detail call outs.
• Determine grading for in-house or factory partners.
• Create and maintain tech packs, specifications and grading sheets.
• Re-check prints, artwork, and placement markers for CAD alignment.
• Develop shape, fit and finalize SMU or capsule samples with Development team.
• Attend Pre-production meetings with Production, QC and factories to align Tech Pack and fit requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with Production, QC & Pattern teams.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Garment Technician to join our Bali Office. This role will work closely with our Development and Production teams.

Along with the Design & Pattern team,you willsupport in the fitting, Pre-Production sampling and creating Tech Packs. Making sure the garments fit and function are ready for commercial launch.

An eye for fashion, trend, garment fit, quality, technical problem-solving, strong planning and leadership skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Garment Technician team’s daily task and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved within the set timeline
• Attend all SMS and PPS fit sessions with the Design & Pattern team and make fit comments to meet commercial needs
• Making accurate technical drawing or flat sketch with detail call outs to ensure design details are clear to follow
• Determine grading for the pattern makers both in-house or factory partners to follow
• Create and maintain tech packs, specification and grading sheets
• Re-checking prints, artwork, placement markers to ensure CADs design is achieved
• Together with the Development team, develop shape, fit and finalise additional SMU or special capsule samples
• Attend Pre-production Meeting with Production, QC and Factory Partners both online or offline to consult Tech Pack and fit requirements in production
• Along with Production, QC & Pattern team, troubleshoot any technical issues

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Design, Pattern Making or Garment Technology is preferable
• Experience with industry leading software and technology skills (e.g. Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite) preferable
• Strong pattern knowledge & understanding in sewing techniques
• Solid knowledge in garment construction and fit
• 3 years experience as Garment Technician or 5 years experience in fashion development, production, or similar field
• Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Strong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlines
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong critical thinking skill
• Strong work ethic and good attitude
• Leadership experience is preferable
