Job summary

Hop Lun Group is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the Sewing, Cutting, Packing, Technical, Mechanical and IE teams to meet quality, timeliness and cost targets in our garment plant. You will plan and schedule production, manage resources, supervise end-to-end production, ensure strict QC, and drive cost efficiency while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in garments, and a degree in Industrial Engineering or Production

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification garment industry experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Management.
• Fluent English speaking and writing; local language helpful for expatriates.
• Hands-on PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of sewing processes and garment production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production weekly, monthly, and yearly to meet targets.
• Ensure adequate resources: materials, machinery, and workforce.
• Oversight of sewing, cutting, QC, finishing, and packing operations.
• Establish and monitor strict QC standards and reduce defects.
• Control costs and improve productivity; minimize waste.
• Lead and develop the production team; manage performance.
• Coordinate with merchandising, warehousing, sales, and management.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and implement 5S.
• Organize maintenance to prevent breakdowns and delays.
