Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in Jakarta to design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications with production readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on full-stack experience, strong skills in modern frontend and backend stacks, and expertise with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, CI/CD, and containerization. You will help ensure security, reliability, and performance across deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics/CS/IS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on full-stack production experience.
• Strong in modern frontend and backend technologies and libraries.
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, caching, Git, CI/CD, and containers.
• Strong problem-solving and communication, able to explain technical concepts.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on secure, scalable software.

Your Day-to-Day

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web and/or mobile applications for production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms while ensuring performance, scalability, and system availability.
• Optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and implement caching strategies to improve application performance.
• Ensure system security, reliability, and code quality by following engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing code, and driving engineering excellence.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development for production environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies, frameworks, and libraries.
