Job summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo, with a planned Q1 2027 spin. The Accountant role based in Batam will support SpinCo, ensuring accurate accounting and robust financial operations aligned with corporate directives.

You will manage monthly, quarterly and annual closes, audits, tax compliance, fixed assets, inventories, inter-company transactions, invoice processing, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Typically requires 5-6 years of related experience in any MNC.
• Related professional certification preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA or APICS.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and coordination of annual audits.
• Research and report on financial status, including income statement variances, communicating results to management, budget preparation.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations.
• Ensure proper control and accounting of fixed assets additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Generate reports for labor investigations, expense research, monthly balance sheet and monthly customer profit and loss statement; review actions from reports.
• Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
• Review inter-company ICV bookings and payments.
• Ensure proper accounting of all transactions and accurate monthly inventory valuation.
• Coordinate/oversee annual physical inventory or stock take.
• Research expenses for cost centers, departments, and projects.
• Initiate actions for early identification and resolution of disputes with the customer.
• Process invoices timely per SOPs and resolve discrepant invoices.
