Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Jakarta seeks a Senior Field Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for complex deployed systems, collaborating with customers and partners to ensure reliability and performance of mission-critical networks.

You will lead incident response, perform RCA, design value-added services, and mentor junior team members while occasionally traveling for on-site work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service and system integration experience.
• Public Safety, mission-critical operations, and advanced data analytics expertise; Tetra/LMR or GSM/LTE/5G knowledge and cybersecurity principles.
• Land Mobile Radio system knowledge and cybersecurity processes within NOC/SOC environments.
• Experience in Customer Support, Maintenance, and Life Cycle Management.
• ITIL v4 certification is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead major incident resolution with advanced problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level on-site and remote support for complex deployed systems with customers and vendors.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and implement preventative measures.
• Design value-added services, process optimization, and automation using scripting and data analytics.
• Act as the primary technical interface and trusted advisor to customers for high-priority issues.
• Lead small projects or technical work streams for system upgrades and improvements.
• Occasional out-of-hours support and on-site travel may be required.
