Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to provide expert on-site and remote support for mission-critical systems. You will lead incident response, perform RCA, and implement preventive measures while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires deep knowledge of Land Mobile Radio, cybersecurity, and network operations, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate across teams. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field service and system integration.
• Expertise in Public Safety and mission-critical operations.
• Deep knowledge of LMR systems or GSM/LTE/5G tech and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote expert support for complex deployed systems.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
• Design value-added services and automation using scripting and data analytics.
• Act as primary technical interface and trusted advisor to customers.
• Lead small projects related to upgrades and improvements.
• Occasional on-site travel and out-of-hours support may be required.
