Job summary

Asia Pulp and Paper Group (APP) in Karawang, West Java, seeks a senior Engineer/Maintenance Leader to integrate engineering and maintenance functions, enhance machine efficiency, and sustain production performance. You will lead a team, manage CAPEX and spare parts, plan preventive maintenance, review equipment reliability, and drive strategies for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 15 years of experience

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
15 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, and utility.
Deep knowledge of paper machines and their maintenance.
Ability to analyze data for informed decisions.
Ability to recommend solutions for engineering problems.

Responsibilities

Integrate engineering and maintenance to improve machine efficiency and production continuity.
Control maintenance costs and CAPEX for new installations or modifications.
Plan and implement maintenance strategies across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation areas.
Establish objectives, policies, procedures and standards to minimize downtime.
Ensure calibration and testing of equipment, availability of spare parts and manpower.
Lead and develop a team of managers to achieve performance targets.
Contribute to strategic planning at top management level.
