Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler systems. You will inspect pipes, valves, pumps and pressure vessels, adhering to SOPs and safety standards to minimize downtime.
The role requires reading technical drawings, using measuring tools, and coordinating with teams to diagnose mechanical issues and implement robust solutions. At least 2 years of boiler maintenance experience is expected.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler mechanical components including pipes, valves, pumps, and pressure vessels. Ensure all repairs follow SOPs and safety standards while monitoring operating parameters to detect potential failures.

Conduct routine inspections of physical condition and supporting systems

Provide technical solutions to minimize downtime
Prepare reports on inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
Requirements
Min.education D3/S1 mechanical engineering, power plant engineering, or related major.
At least 2 years of experience in boiler maintenance
Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, and pressure vessels
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of welding, fitting, and alignment
Good communication and teamwork abilities
