Job summary

Colliers is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Engineer to drive energy optimization across commercial buildings. You will analyze HVAC and BMS data, identify savings opportunities, implement optimization strategies, and deliver measurable reductions in energy use and carbon emissions.

You will lead project delivery, engage with clients, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance on HVAC systems and building controls. This role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in HVAC, BMS, building automation, energy management, or related optimization.
• Strong knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, and BMS.
• Ability to deliver measurable energy savings in commercial buildings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of energy optimization projects and achieve targeted savings.
• Analyze HVAC and BMS data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement control optimization strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor building performance using data analytics and diagnostics.
• Investigate and resolve operational faults and anomalies.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders with clear, advisory communication.
• Prepare project reports, savings verification, and recommendations.
