Job summary

Mubadala Energy Indonesia seeks a Senior Geologist Development for a direct contract in Jakarta to define well objectives, design programs, and deliver conceptual designs aligned with project goals. You will lead subsurface interfaces and guide decision making with rigorous analysis.

The role requires 10+ years upstream geoscience experience, strong leadership, proficiency in Petrel, and extensive well planning, development plans, and reserves input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum geoscience or Earth science required.
• 10+ years upstream oil & gas geoscience experience.
• Experience leading development and well planning in offshore campaigns.
• Strong interface with drilling and other subsurface disciplines.
• Proven mentoring abilities and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver well concepts and execution plans.
• Provide geoscience input to proposals and stage gates.
• Lead interfaces with drilling and other subsurface teams.
• Develop development plans and reserves-related input.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in offshore projects.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.
