Job summary

Mubadala Energy seeks a Drilling Completion & Engineering Advisor to act as the technical authority for all drilling, completion and well services activities. You will ensure wells are safely planned, executed and delivered in line with Mubadala Energy standards, SKK Migas regulations, and international best practices.

Lead the design, planning, execution, and close-out of programs, mentor onshore and offshore personnel, and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering and advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years in oil and gas with offshore drilling exposure.
• Expertise in drilling engineering, well design, operations management.
• Familiar with Indonesias upstream regulatory environment and SKK Migas.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor for drilling, completion and well services.
• Lead design, planning, execution and close-out of programs.
• Mentor onshore and offshore personnel to foster capability and high performance.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Oversee well designs, drilling programs, hydraulics and BHA design.
• Monitor performance, costs and risks; take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Manage drilling budgets, contracts, tendering and vendor evaluation.
• Prepare reports and technical reviews for senior management.
