Neo Energy Materials seeks a senior procurement leader to identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for direct materials, including minerals, chemicals, and equipment used in HPAL operations.

The role leads the Direct Material Sourcing Team, develops sourcing strategies aligned with mining and smelter needs, manages vendor selections, negotiates terms, and drives ESG-compliant procurement while collaborating with operations, finance, and sustainability teams to achieve cost optimization

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably mining/HPAL.
• Experience in supplier selection, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation for relevant commodities.
• Strong knowledge of direct materials used in nickel mining and HPAL operations.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for international communications.

Aufgaben

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for direct materials, including minerals, chemicals, spare parts, consumables, and equipment.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with mining operations, smelter production requirements, and long-term business objectives.
• Manage transparent vendor selection processes, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, technical and commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor vendor performance, maintain scorecards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
