Adaro Mining seeks a proactive Lead Environmental Scientist to oversee environmental compliance and sustainability across global mining operations, guiding a multi-site team from Bekasi while working remotely.

You will develop comprehensive environmental management plans, liaise with regulators and stakeholders, and drive responsible resource development for the group’s activities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in environmental management, with substantial mining industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading environmental teams and managing large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessment processes, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Environmental Scientist to manage environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for their global mining operations, working entirely remotely from Bekasi. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that all mining activities adhere to stringent environmental regulations and best practices.
