NielsenIQ is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for the FMCG sector in Jakarta. This client-facing leadership role blends analytics, team leadership, and business impact to deliver advanced insights for markets and products.

Responsibilities include owning end-to-end Data Science solutions, partnering with country leaders, and translating strategic needs into innovative analytics using Python, R, and top visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maths, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in market research or a relevant field.
• Solid understanding of the CPG/FMCG industry and retail market impact on client business.
• Experience with consumer-sourced data solutions preferred.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and clients; English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Own Data Science solutions for a market/industry on new and existing products and services.
• Be a Data Science business partner for country/cluster leaders, commercial, product, and tech.
• Meet with clients to translate business needs into analytical strategies and innovative solutions.
• Support client and commercial teams with Data Science design questions.
• Lead Data Science solutions for client requests and provide initial recommendations.
