Job summary

TechConnect GmbH is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security leader to own the end-to-end cybersecurity posture across a complex hybrid-cloud environment including IT/OT and industrial systems. You will translate technical risk for the C-Suite, define the enterprise security roadmap, and lead a high-performing team to build a mature AI-driven SOC with MITRE ATT&CK alignment.

The role requires 12–15+ years in enterprise cybersecurity and expertise in Zero Trust, SASE, and CSPM.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of enterprise cybersecurity experience, incl. senior leadership.
• Proven track record leading security transformations across budget, people, and technology.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust, SASE, and modern network security controls.
• Experience securing IT/OT convergence, manufacturing facilities, IoT, and ICS.
• Background in AI-driven SecOps, SOAR automation, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent ability to communicate cyber risk to C-suite and Board.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS, Engineering; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Build and mature a Zero Trust and SASE architecture.
• Oversee AI-driven SOC, UEBA, and threat detection mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Lead identity and endpoint security strategy including PAM and passwordless auth.
• Govern compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
• Budget, vendor management, and third-party risk; mentor security team.
• Lead incident response planning and post-incident reviews.
