Job summary

DayOne is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to oversee budgeting, cost control and contract administration for data center construction projects in Indonesia, including Batam and Jakarta. The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in cost control or quantity surveying within the industrial or data center sector and proficiency with CostX, RSMeans, Primavera,

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Construction Management or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of cost control, quantity surveying, or project control experience in industrial, construction or data center sectors.
• Experience on Indonesia, APAC or international projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for data center construction projects including materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors and overhead.
• Monitor and control project budgets; analyse variances and implement cost-saving actions.
• Prepare change orders and cost estimates for design changes or contract variations.
• Track costs, perform variance analysis, and report on budget vs. actuals to stakeholders.
• Support contract administration and liaise with legal for contractual matters.
