Job summary

PT Wahana Kosmetika Indonesia is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to manage sourcing and evaluation of local and overseas packaging suppliers, with a focus on Chinese manufacturers. You will procure bottles, jars, pumps, caps, boxes, labels, and related components while ensuring specs, quality, and timely delivery.

You will negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms, and monitor supplier performance for price competitiveness and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, SCM, Business Admin, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing.
Experience with packaging materials and cosmetics/FMCG/manufacturing sectors preferred.
Experience handling local and international suppliers, especially from China.
Experience in supplier negotiation, price comparison, and procurement documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct sourcing, selection, and evaluation of local and overseas suppliers, particularly China-based packaging suppliers.
Handle procurement of cosmetic packaging materials (bottles, jars, tubes, caps, pumps, boxes, labels, etc.).
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and other commercial terms.
Ensure purchases meet approved specs, quality standards, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate packaging development and sampling with suppliers and internal teams.
Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, pricing, responsiveness, and on-time delivery.
