Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong background and demonstrated experience in civil engineering project delivery.
• Experience in drainage, pavements, earthworks, and road design.
• Highly developed communication skills with project teams, clients, stakeholders, authorities, consultants and contractors.
• Proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of diverse civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Produce designs, technical documentation, specifications, reports, and fee proposals to meet client and project requirements.
• Review engineering designs and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality and completeness.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead the design and delivery of diverse civil engineering projects while mentoring and supporting a team of engineers and drafters.

You will play a key role in managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring the delivery of practical, innovative, and economical engineering solutions that meet client expectations and industry standards.

In this role, you will accountable for the following:

Civil Engineering & Technical Leadership

• Apply a deep understanding of civil engineering principles to develop practical and economical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Produce designs, technical documentation, specifications, reports, and fee proposals to meet client and project requirements.
• Review engineering designs and documentation prepared by team members to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Stay informed of emerging technical developments and promote best-practice engineering approaches within the team.
• Liaise with engineers, drafters, and project stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.

Project Management & Client Engagement

• Manage small, medium, and selected large-scale projects, including pricing, tender submissions, project scheduling, technical documentation, and resource planning.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
• Prepare and present client reports and maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business growth opportunities.
• Contribute to the overall management and profitability of projects.

Who are we looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong background and demonstrated experience in civil engineering project delivery.
• Has experience in drainage, pavements, earthworks, and road design.
• Highly developed communication skills to effectively communicate and coordinate with project team, clients, stakeholders, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
• A proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and implement local state standards.
