Job summary

TTW, an Australian-owned engineering firm, invites a Civil Drafter to join our Jakarta team to lead design and documentation on major civil projects, including road infrastructure, in a digital delivery environment. You will manage drafting on large projects, mentor junior drafters, and coordinate with engineers and architects to produce accurate drawings and compliant documentation, using Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to read and implement local state standards.
• Ability to coordinate existing and proposed utilities.
• Ability to interrogate information with a keen eye for design parameters.
• Proficient in Civil 3D for drafting major projects using a National Systemised framework.
• Experience delivering large civil projects and leading a project documentation team.

Responsibilities

• Manage drafting on large projects autonomously and lead junior drafters within the project team.
• Manage small and large projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocated.
• Liaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation.
• Competently convey structural information into drawing format which can be interpreted by builders.
• Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
• Provide training and assistance to junior drafters including technical support of Civil 3D and other software.
• Desirable to have civil3d design & modelling experience.
• Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems.
• Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.
