Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Project Manager to lead high-profile construction works on a project site in Indonesia. You will oversee on-site activities, manage subordinates and subcontractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires extensive experience in civil construction, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Degree in civil engineering or related disciplines.
15+ years experience in civil/construction.
Deep knowledge of practical building/civil construction and safety legal requirements.
Experience managing direct staff and subcontractors.
Experience in operational and technical roles in the construction industry.
Civil contracting experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years in managerial civil project management.
Willing to be placed on project location and follow company rules.

Responsibilities

Manage construction works of the assigned project to achieve targets.
Develop and manage subordinates to optimize on-site productivity.
Review and drive continuous improvement for efficiency.
Ensure adequate competent technical resources for construction activities.
Maintain coordination to integrate construction plans and schedules.
Promote safe and environmentally friendly working practices to meet HSE standards.
Consolidate and review reports for monthly/annual decision making.
Share knowledge to develop construction technical expertise within the organization.
