Job summary

Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee all hotel engineering systems, budget utilization, and asset performance. You will direct safety, maintenance, and capital projects across electrical, mechanical, and building services while leading a high-performing team and ensuring guest comfort.

Ideal candidates have extensive hotel engineering background, 10+ years in related fields, and trade qualifications in specified disciplines.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or relevant certification.
10+ years in hotel/building services or related field.
5+ years as Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.
Strong background in HVAC, water treatment, hydraulics, and building systems.
Trade qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing/Gas Fitting.

Responsibilities

Oversee facility operations, safety, and compliance of building systems.
Direct maintenance and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems.
Lead capital projects, budgeting, bidding, and permitting with regulatory compliance.
Manage work orders and ensure documentation in the maintenance system.
Ensure regulatory permits and safety standards with government officials.
Develop a high-performing engineering team through development and recognition.
Foster communication between Engineering and other hotel areas.
Maintain strong customer service focus and guest privacy.
