Job summary

Amar Bank is seeking a Lead or Senior Business Analyst to help the MSME team identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems. You will lead strategic initiatives, improve processes, and provide insights to boost performance.

You will work closely with top management to translate user needs into clear requirements, support KYC/KYB validation, and develop data-driven recommendations. A growth mindset and collaboration across functions are essential.

Qualifications

Strong technical capabilities in data processing and analysis using SQL, Excel, and/or other analytical tools.
Background or experience in business analysis, user research, data analysis, computer science, or a related field.
Ability to understand user needs and translate them into clear business problems, requirements, and actionable insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, particularly with Product teams and other stakeholders.
High level of initiative, curiosity, and willingness to explore and understand business and user problems.
Strong discipline, ownership, and reliability in completing assigned tasks and delivering results.
Willingness and ability to learn KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) validation processes in accordance with applicable SOPs and technical guidelines.
Experience or strong interest in using AI-assisted development and/or vibe coding approaches to build simple proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for validating business formulas, logic, or processes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct business matching analysis to identify alignment between user needs/problems and business solutions developed with the Product team and other functions.
Conduct user research to identify insights, pain points, and relevant data points that support business benefits and decision-making.
Translate research findings and user insights into clear business proposals, requirements, and problem statements, and collaborate with the Product team throughout the solution-building process.
Support KYC and KYB validation analysis for new users/customers in accordance with SOPs and guidelines.
Develop data-driven recommendations to support business decisions and solution development.
Support project/initiative documentation and communicate progress, findings, and key updates to stakeholders.
Provide support for project-related activities and other business administration needs as required.
