Job summary

Worley in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Principal Bridge Structures Engineer to guide design basis, criteria and loading assumptions for major bridge projects. You will lead the development and optimisation of bridge forms, spans, superstructures and foundations, and coordinate with geotechnical and water-resources colleagues while mentoring the structural team.

With a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, 15+ years of bridge experience, and professional registration or chartered status,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; postgraduate beneficial.
• 15+ years in bridge engineering with leadership/technical authority.
• Experience in bridge analysis, seismic design, substructures and foundations.
• Professional registration or chartered status, or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Guide design basis, criteria, loading assumptions and durability.
• Lead development and optimisation of bridge forms, spans and foundations.
• Advise on vehicle, dead, dynamic, wind, seismic and hydraulic loading.
• Coordinate foundations with site geotechnical conditions.
• Mentor the structural team and ensure safe, cost-effective solutions.
