Worley, a global engineering company, seeks a senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Jakarta to lead bridge design assignments and coordinate with geotechnical, civil and road teams. The role focuses on practical, construction-ready solutions and detailed technical documentation.

The candidate should have 10+ years of bridge or major civil-structure experience, expertise in reinforced concrete or steel bridges, and strong English communication skills for international collaboration.

Formación

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Typically 10+ years of bridge or major civil-structure design experience.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and/or structural steel bridges.
• Experience preparing coordinated calculations, drawings, specs and reports.
• Good professional English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop bridge models and design superstructures, foundations, bearings and joints.
• Apply loads including vehicle, dead, dynamic, wind and seismic to designs.
• Prepare calculations, notes, reports, specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate foundations and approaches with geotechnical, civil, drainage and road requirements.
• Develop bridge alternatives, span optimisation and temporary access solutions.
• Develop concrete, reinforcement, steel, piling and scour-protection details.
• Resolve interfaces via coordinated models, drawings and review registers.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits and technical queries.

What You Will Do

• Develop bridge models and design superstructures, substructures, foundations, bearings, joints and associated elements.
• Apply relevant vehicle, dead, dynamic, braking, wind, seismic, hydraulic, scour, debris and construction loads.
• Prepare calculations, technical notes, reports, specifications, drawings, material take-offs and quantity inputs.
• Coordinate foundations and bridge approaches with geotechnical, civil, drainage and road requirements.
• Develop and recommend bridge alternatives, culvert options, span optimisation, staging, erection and temporary-access solutions for assigned packages.
• Develop concrete, reinforcement, steel, piling, foundation and scour-protection details.
• Resolve interfaces through coordinated models, drawings and review registers.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits, technical queries and checking activities.

What You Will Have

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Typically 10 or more years of relevant bridge or major civil-structure design experience.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and/or structural steel bridge design.
• Experience preparing coordinated, construction-ready calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
