Job summary

Peoplyee in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Baker to lead bakery production, supervise junior bakers, and ensure quality, consistency, and safety across all products. The role requires deep bread-making expertise, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage schedules and minimize waste while maintaining cleanliness standards.

Applicants should have at least a Senior High School diploma or bakery-related education, and 5 years of senior baking experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: Senior High School diploma; culinary or bakery-related education or certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Baker in the artisan bread or bakery industry, including supervising junior bakers or bakery assistants.
• Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, dough preparation, fermentation, proofing, and baking processes.
• Proficient in operating bakery equipment, ovens, mixers, and other baking tools.
• Ability to maintain consistent product quality, manage production timelines, and control ingredient usage.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
