ABB Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Technical Sales Support Manager to lead technical tendering and solution development for Automation Energy projects. You will serve as a key technical resource, preparing descriptions, costs, and final documentation while coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation & Control / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
• 6–10 years in technical sales support, proposal engineering, bid management (automation / ICSS) or Engineering.
• Experience in Power Plants, Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Renewables or Petrochemical EPC projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, and SIS platforms; ABB portfolio familiarity is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop and define automation solutions (DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS) based on customer specifications and URDs, including system architecture, I/O definition, network topology, redundancy concepts, and integration requirements such as PMS, ECMS, cybersecurity, and remote operations.
• Lead the technical tendering process by preparing technical proposals, compliance matrices, scope of supply documentation, and managing technical clarifications, value engineering, and bid negotiations to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.
• Support commercial and project execution activities through cost estimation, manhour planning, resource allocation, coordination with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and facilitating a smooth handover from tendering to project execution.
• Engage with customers and industry stakeholders including EPCs, OEMs, system integrators, and consultants, while ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, and project-specific standards and staying abreast of industry trends such as IEC 61850, BESS integration, cybersecurity, and decarbonization.
