Managem Group is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer for the BOTO site in Senegal. You will supervise maintenance of automation systems, ensuring reliability and performance, while leading projects from design to commissioning.

The role requires expertise in PLCs, DCS, Siemens platforms, and a strong multidisciplinary leadership skill set. You will collaborate with electricians, technicians and instrumentation staff to optimize operations, advance digitalization, and energy efficiency in

Competenze

Engineering degree in Automation or Automated Systems required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in SCADA, DCS and Siemens-based automation programming.
Experience in industrial/mining environment preferred.

Mansioni

Oversee technical and strategic supervision of maintenance for automation systems and infrastructure.
Ensure optimal availability and reliability of all automated systems; monitor performance and compliance.
Lead management of automation infrastructure including planning updates and monitoring.
Maintain and modify automation programs (PLCs, SCADA, DCS) per operational needs.
Drive new automation projects from studies to commissioning.
Propose initiatives for continuous improvement, energy optimization and digitalization.
Support field teams in diagnostics and skills development.
Contribute to technology watch and integration of innovative solutions.
