Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Indonesia is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements and develop a growing team of professionals. You will plan, execute, and review engagements with oversight from Managers and Partners, ensuring compliance with PSAK, Indo GAAS, IFRS and ISA.

You will analyze financial statements, test controls, and mentor junior staff, while coordinating with clients to resolve complex issues and deliver high-quality audit reports on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3–4 years of audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting and auditing standards (PSAK and Indo GAAS).
• Familiarity with IFRS and ISA.
• Pakom start certification (Ak) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and completion of audit engagements with oversight from Managers and Partners.
• Supervise engagement activities and review material misstatements and accounting estimates.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements using accepted procedures to determine audit conclusions.
• Review internal controls and transactions with clients to ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and training of auditors as needed.
• Coordinate with team and client personnel to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Manage team activities and delegate tasks to ensure timely audit reports.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and interns on engagements.
• Participate in non-statutory procedures and due diligence as required.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Audit Manager.

Role and responsibilities:

• Leading the planning, execution and completion of Audit engagements with oversight from the Managers and Partners
• Perform and supervise aspects of the engagements for all the clients, including designed and executed responses to material misstatements, reviewed accounting estimates for bias, analyzed significant unusual transactions and performed journal entries testing designed to detect management override
• Prepare and analyze financial statements using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to determine audit conclusion
• Examine, records and interview senior management and client staff to ensure internal controls and recorded transactions are in accordance with Accounting Standards
• Responsible for conducting audits related, risk assessments and training of Auditors
• Coordinate with team members and client personnel to resolve complex accounting issues or audit findings
• Manage team activities and delegate assignments to ensure timely issuance of audit report
• Mentoring and coaching Assistants and Interns staff
• Involve in the engagement, other than statutory audit, such as agreed upon procedures and due diligence and etc
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the Audit Manager in the completion of the audit assignment.

Requirements :

• University degree from prominent university in Accounting with min IPK 3.00
• Minimum 3-4 years working experience in Audit field
• Excellent knowledge of Indonesian accounting and auditing standards (PSAK and Indo GAAS),
• Orientation in IFRS and ISA
• Start PPAK certification (Ak) will be an advantage
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Able to work well under pressure and outside normal hours
