Job summary

Forvis Mazars Indonesia is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our growing audit team. You will lead planning, execution and completion of audits, mentor junior staff, and ensure alignment with PSAK, Indo GAAS, IFRS and ISA standards.

Your role includes supervising fieldwork, reviewing financial statements, coordinating with clients, and supporting engagement managers to deliver high-quality audit outcomes while building a strong client relationship in Jakarta Selatan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of PSAK and Indo GAAS; IFRS/ISA familiarity.
• Start PPAK certification (Ak) an advantage; fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and completion of audit engagements with oversight from Managers/Partners.
• Supervise engagement aspects, assess misstatements, review estimates and test for management override.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements using standard accounting procedures.
• Evaluate internal controls, interview management and staff, ensure compliance.
• Mentor Assistants and Interns; coordinate with client personnel to resolve issues.
• Participate in other engagements beyond statutory audits; manage team tasks to timely reporting.
• Contribute to training, risk assessment and application of audit methods.

Role and responsibilities:

Leading the planning, execution and completion of Audit engagements with oversight from the Managers and Partners

Perform and supervise aspects of the engagements for all the clients, including designed and executed responses to material misstatements, reviewed accounting estimates for bias, analyzed significant unusual transactions and performed journal entries testing designed to detect management override

Prepare and analyze financial statements using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to determine audit conclusion

Examine, records and interview senior management and client staff to ensure internal controls and recorded transactions are in accordance with Accounting Standards

Responsible for conducting audits related, risk assessments and training of Auditors

Coordinate with team members and client personnel to resolve complex accounting issues or audit findings

Manage team activities and delegate assignments to ensure timely issuance of audit report

Mentoring and coaching Assistants and Interns staff

Involve in the engagement, other than statutory audit, such as agreed upon procedures and due diligence and etc

Perform other related tasks assigned by the Audit Manager in the completion of the audit assignment.

Requirements :

University degree from prominent university in Accounting with min IPK 3.00

Minimum 3-4 years working experience in Audit field

Excellent knowledge of Indonesian accounting and auditing standards (PSAK and Indo GAAS),

Orientation in IFRS and ISA

Start PPAK certification (Ak) will be an advantage

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Able to work well under pressure and outside normal hours

Willing to travel
