You will draft and review pleadings, argue in court and at various forums, conduct in-depth legal research, and provide tactical advice to clients while supervising junior staff.

Qualifications

• Requires S1 in Law; S2/Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience at a law firm.
• Active advocate license (KTPA PERADI) and sworn in at High Court (BAS).
• Proven track record in civil, criminal, and bankruptcy/PKPU cases.
• Strong drafting, legal analysis, and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in Indonesian and English for drafting and communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy formulation and manage litigation from initial stage to judgment execution.

• Represent clients in court, police, prosecutor's office, and ADR forums.

Job description

Senior Associate - Litigation role involving leading strategy formulation and case management for litigation matters (civil, criminal, and commercial/business disputes) from initial stage through judgment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead formulation of strategy and management of litigation case handling (civil, criminal, and commercial/business disputes) from initial stage to judgment execution
• Draft and review all legal documents for advanced court proceedings (claims, responses, replies, counter-replies, appeal/cassation/review memoranda, pleadings, demand letters, and legal opinions)
• Represent and support client legal interests in court, police, prosecutor's office, and alternative dispute resolution forums/arbitration
• Conduct in-depth legal research, dispute risk mitigation, and provide tactical legal consultation to clients
• Supervise, mentor, and review work of Junior Associates and paralegal team
• Maintain professional relationships and strategic communication with clients and relevant parties

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Law (S2/Master's degree in Law highly preferred and valued)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in litigation at a law firm
• Must have active advocate license (KTPA PERADI/official organization) and sworn in at High Court (possess BAS)
• Proven track record in handling and resolving civil, criminal, and bankruptcy/PKPU cases strategically and effectively
• Strong legal drafting, juridical analysis, and negotiation capabilities
• Fluent in communicating and drafting legal documents in Indonesian and English, both orally and in writing
• Good leadership, high integrity, and accustomed to working under tight deadlines
