Job summary

MODENA in Indonesia is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to gather and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specs, working with developers, QA, UI/UX and business users.

You will create and maintain documentation (BRD, FSD, UML, ERD), support backlog refinement, perform impact analysis, and participate in Agile ceremonies, SIT/UAT, and drive innovative technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT System Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or IT Application Analyst.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business requirements analysis, business process analysis, system analysis, and preparing technical documentation, including BRD, FSD, TDD, SIT, and UAT documents.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, software development best practices, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in UML, Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Flowcharts, and other technical documentation standards.
• Experience in SQL and relational database design, data modeling, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Experience in creating wireframes, user flows, UI/UX mockups, and a good understanding of frontend/backend application architecture.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, API integration, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth/JWT).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements, then translate them into clear functional and technical specifications that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and business users, throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including FSDs, UML diagrams, use case diagrams, flowcharts, ERDs, and application wireframes or mockups.
• Support backlog refinement by defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and collaborating with the development team to estimate implementation effort.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests and recommend feasible, scalable, and sustainable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparing test scenarios, facilitating testing activities, and validating test results.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes and enterprise applications.
