Juna in Ubud, Bali is seeking a Security Restaurant professional to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming dining environment for guests, staff and assets, while upholding our high standards of safety and professionalism.

The role requires proactive security management, monitoring access, conducting patrols, coordinating with local authorities, and ensuring CCTV systems and logs are up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in security roles, preferably hospitality or retail.
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Strong observation and threat-identification abilities.
• Professional demeanor and courteous guest interaction.
• Physical fitness and ability to respond to security incidents.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid security licence or certification preferred.
• Experience with CCTV and security technology is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Balinese customs and Indonesian regulations beneficial.

About the role

We are seeking a Security Restaurant professional to join Juna in Ubud, Bali. This is a contract position offering an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive security services for our restaurant operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, staff and assets, whilst ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. This role is vital to the successful operation of our establishment and requires a proactive, professional approach to security management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling access to the restaurant premises, ensuring only authorised personnel and guests enter the facility
• Conducting regular patrols of the restaurant, dining areas, kitchen facilities and surrounding grounds to identify and address potential security risks
• Managing crowd control during busy periods and special events to maintain safety and order
• Responding promptly to security incidents, disturbances or emergency situations with professionalism and discretion
• Liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Monitoring CCTV systems and maintaining security logs and incident reports
• Conducting bag checks and implementing security protocols in accordance with company policies
• Assisting with the protection of restaurant assets, equipment and inventory from theft or damage
• Maintaining a visible security presence to deter unauthorised activity and provide reassurance to guests and staff
• Communicating effectively with restaurant management and staff regarding security concerns and updates

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working in security roles, preferably in hospitality, restaurant or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures and health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
• Excellent observation skills and the ability to identify potential security threats or unusual behaviour
• Professional demeanour and the ability to interact courteously with guests whilst maintaining security standards
• Physical fitness and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• A valid security licence or certification (preferred)
• Experience with CCTV systems and security technology (advantageous)
• Knowledge of local Balinese customs and Indonesian regulations (beneficial)
