Aditya Birla Yarn is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to arrange outbound logistics, coordinate vessel space, and manage export documentation. You will lead export staff, ensure LC compliance, and coordinate with PPIC to align production with shipping schedules.

The role requires 10+ years in yarn export logistics, strong negotiation with lines and forwarders, and proficiency in SAP SD/MM or textile ERPs. Indonesian familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in export-import/logistics in yarn manufacturing.
• At least 3 years in leadership of export staff and documentation teams.
• Experience handling bulk shipments and container optimization.
• Deep knowledge of textile classifications for yarns.

Responsabilités

• Manage outbound logistics and coordinate shipping instructions to shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate with PPIC to align yarn production with shipping schedules.
• Prepare pre/post-shipment documents and ensure compliance with LC terms.
• Prepare invoices, packing lists, and export documentation.
• Communicate with customs for export declarations.

Profile Requirements

Indonesian citizen with below requirement:

• English Speaking is a must
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Export-Import Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations in Yarn Manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing a team of export staff, documentation officers; Demonstrated leadership skills
• Proven experience in handling bulk commodity shipments and container optimization I
• n-depth knowledge of textile classification for cotton, synthetic, wool, or blended yarns.
• Strong capability in scrutinizing, verifying, and executing export documentation strictly complying with L/C terms to prevent bank discrepancies
• Familiarity with local export compliance, customs procedures, and special schemes such as Bonded Zone (Kawasan Berikat) facilities commonly used by textile mills.
• Ability to coordinate closely with the spinning mill production planning control (PPIC) department to match yarn production schedules with shipping vessel schedules.
• Strong negotiation skills with shipping lines and freight forwarders to secure space and competitive freight rates for heavy yarn shipments.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills to track container dispatch logs, lead times, and export rebate claims. Proficiency in SAP (specifically SD/MM modules) or textile-specific ERPs for processing shipping documents and order allocations
• Firm, objective, and possessing integrity

Job Purpose

To arrange logistics support and ensure timely dispatches, dispatches, preparation of pre shipment, post shipment documents, finalization and sales accounting. To support customer information and conduct price analysis, generate market information and supplement market activities in unit ILT.

Job Description

Management of out-bound logistics.

• Co-ordinate and Send shipping instruction to designated shipping co. for booking vessel space and container.
• Co-ordinate and Send shipping instruction to freight forwarder and other agencies.
• Communicate with customs for PEB (Export Declaration)

Pre-shipment and post shipment documents

• Prepare and send EPO to internal customers to meet special customer request.
• Make Invoice, Packing List, and PEB for custom purpose.
• To control post shipment documents.
