Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in sea freight logistics.
• Proven operational leadership skills in managing sea freight activities effectively.
• Proficiency with logistics management systems and operational software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of international sea freight regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
• Familiarity with best practices in sea freight operations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sea freight activities, including cargo handling, loading, unloading, and storage, ensuring safety and damage prevention.
• Lead and mentor the sea freight operations team, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and promote productivity and compliance.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Address and resolve operational challenges such as shipment delays and documentation errors; escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless communication and operations.
• Ensure all sea freight operations comply with local, international, and company regulations, including safety standards.
• Prepare and analyze operational performance reports, track key metrics, and provide insights to management.
