Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is hiring an entry-level accounting professional to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records for a leading logistics group. You will support closing activities and ensure data readiness for audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma D3 or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Jurnal) is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible.
• Basic knowledge of Indonesian taxation (PPh/PPN) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions including receipts, expenses, and journal entries.
• Create accurate and up-to-date accounting records of transactions, including reconciliations.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing required documents and data.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors on accounting matters.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions and support improvements in processes.

Main Responsibilities

1. Manage daily financial transactions, such as receipts, expenses, and journal recording, including invoices, payments, and monitoring bank accounts.
2. Create accurate and up-to-date accounting records of financial transactions, including account balancing, reconciliations, and journal recording.
3. Assist in the internal and external audit process by providing the required documents and data to the auditor.
4. Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

General Responsibilities

1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
5. Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions
6. Support improvements in accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
