Job summary

Scheduler / Resource Coordinator (Engineer)

Develop, maintain, and update Level 3, 4, and 5 project schedules based on actual progress and project milestones.

Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, handover, and contractor schedules into the overall project schedule.

Monitor project progress by comparing Baseline, Actual, and Forecast schedules, and identify critical paths, delays, constraints, and schedule risks.

Review contractors' schedules, recovery schedules, and acceleration plans to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Monitor the availability and utilization of manpower, equipment, tools, materials, and consumables across project workfronts.

Analyze resource requirements versus actual availability and evaluate manpower and equipment productivity against project targets.

Identify resource shortages, excess resources, material bottlenecks, idle equipment, and other issues that may impact project execution.

Prepare look-ahead schedules, milestone tracking, resource monitoring reports, and provide early warnings for potential schedule or resource issues.

Coordinate with Project Teams, Contractors, Consultants, PMC, and other stakeholders to optimize project schedules and resource allocation.

Requirement:

Minimum Diploma (D3) in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. A Bachelor's degree (S1) or related field is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scheduler, Planning Engineer, Resource Coordinator, Project Control Engineer, or a similar role.

Proven experience in engineering and construction projects, preferably in infrastructure, industrial, utilities, land development, mining, or other heavy construction projects.

Strong understanding of project scheduling, construction methodologies, resource planning, and productivity analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Experience using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 is preferred.

Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
