Job summary

PT China Construction Yangtze River Indonesia is seeking an experienced Plan Manager to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will lead baseline and progress schedules, monitor performance, and coordinate with project teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction planning, proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and practices.
• Ability to develop and manage complex schedules for large-scale projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal English; Indonesian standards knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing comprehensive project schedules and timelines in accordance with contract requirements and project objectives.
• Creating and maintaining baseline schedules and progress schedules using industry-standard planning software.
• Monitoring and tracking project progress, identifying delays and variances.
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams for updates.
• Preparing schedule forecasts, progress reports, and critical path analyses for stakeholders.
• Identifying risks and bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions to maintain momentum.
• Managing resource allocation and optimizing workforce productivity schedules.
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate activities within the schedule.
• Conducting schedule reviews and meetings to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and schedule records.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling

Proficiency with planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling tools

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and best practices

Ability to develop and manage complex project schedules for large‑scale construction projects

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify scheduling issues and propose practical solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse project teams

Attention to detail and accuracy in schedule development and reporting

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)

Certification in project management or planning (such as PMP or equivalent) is advantageous

Experience working on large infrastructure or building construction projects

Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential

Knowledge of Indonesian construction standards and regulations is beneficial
