Working arrangement: Remote initially, transitioning to hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

Milestones is looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to support our growing portfolio of tourism and hospitality projects in Indonesia.

We work primarily with villas, resorts, liveaboards, dive and surf businesses, and other travel and hospitality brands.

This is a hands-on support role for someone who is organised, comfortable with research and communication, and confident working independently.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development Support

• Research potential clients and businesses across Indonesia
• Identify relevant companies, partners and decision-makers
• Build and maintain organised prospect and contact databases
• Support outreach to potential clients and business partners
• Follow up with leads and existing contacts
• Keep track of conversations, responses and next steps
• Help identify new business and partnership opportunities

Client & Partner Communication

• Respond to initial enquiries via email and WhatsApp
• Communicate with potential clients, partners and suppliers
• Follow up on outstanding information and requests
• Maintain professional and friendly communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Escalate sales enquiries and important matters to management when required

Marketing Support

• Conduct market, competitor and industry research
• Research tourism and hospitality businesses by destination and sector
• Support email marketing and database management
• Assist with research and preparation for marketing campaigns
• Support collaboration and communication with business and marketing partners

Project Coordination

• Help coordinate smaller client and internal projects
• Follow up with team members and freelancers on outstanding tasksKeep track of deadlines and action points
• Maintain project information, documents and spreadsheets
• Flag delays or issues that require management attention

What we're looking for

Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia

Very organised and comfortable working with Google Sheets and databases

Confident conducting online research

Comfortable communicating via email and WhatsApp

Able to work independently and follow instructions

Comfortable following up with people and keeping track of multiple tasks

Experience/Interaction in tourism and marketing

Based in Bali

Experience in sales support, marketing, hospitality, tourism, administration, customer service or project coordination is an advantage.

You do not need to be a senior salesperson or marketing strategist. We are looking for someone practical, reliable and organised who enjoys research, communication and helping projects move forward.

Working arrangement

The position will start remotely.

Once our new office is ready, the position will transition to a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 3 days per week working from the office in Bali.

Some flexibility to work remotely will remain.
