Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking Sales Engineers across multiple product divisions. Roles vary by engineering background (Chemical, Electrical, or general IPA) to cover Resins, Burners and Electrical, and Lubricants/oils.

The position entails site visits, technical consultations, and end-to-end project support in Jakarta and other cities. Responsibilities include client requirements assessment, tender participation, detailed proposals, and ongoing technical support throughout equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess client technical requirements and propose solutions.
• Provide technical consultations and recommend product solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals with specs, pricing, and ROI.
• Participate in tenders and bids for industrial equipment projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for project execution.
• Oversee project delivery from award through installation.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Identify spare parts needs and upsell opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships via visits.
• Track sales pipeline and achieve individual targets.

Position Overview

We're hiring Sales Engineers for multiple product divisions. Your role will depend on your engineering background:

• Chemical Engineering background: Resins


• Electrical Engineering background: Burners and Electrical


• General engineering / IPA background: Lubricants and oils

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess client technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions


• Provide technical consultations and recommend product solution based on client specifications and project needs


• Prepare detailed proposals including technical specifications, pricing, and ROI analysis


• Participate in tender processes and competitive bidding for industrial equipment projects


• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution


• Oversee project delivery from contract award through installation and commissioning (for project-based products)


• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting throughout equipment lifespan


• Identify spare parts needs and upsell opportunities with existing clients


• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular communication and site visits


• Track sales pipeline, prepare reports, and achieve individual sales targets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering


• At least 2 years of working experience


• Willingness to travel to client sites in Jakarta and other cities 30% of the time

Work Environment & Location

• Based in Jakarta with 8 client site visits/week within Greater Jakarta area or other cities


• Reports to division head. Partners with a technician responsible for installation. Responsible for 50 clients (initially start with 5-10 clients).
