Job summary

Phoenix Contact SEA Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage existing customers and develop new accounts in East Indonesia, including Surabaya. You will meet growth targets, prepare quotations, and provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support.

You will conduct regular customer meetings, deliver product demonstrations, and participate in marketing events while traveling as needed. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial electrical component sales.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Customer-driven and results-oriented.
• Aggressive, persistent, proactive and must be a good team player.
• Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
• Willing to travel on short notice for training, trade shows, etc.
• Experience within Power, Process and Mining industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customers and develop new customers in East Indonesia area.
• Meet/exceed sales growth objectives as established by Sales leadership.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries/proposals from customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to understand customer's business status and look for business opportunities.
• Prepare sales visits and project status/activity reports on weekly basis or as required.
• Provide feedback to the team regarding competition, product and market needs.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops/trainings with customers as required.
• Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Phoenix Contact products, applications, and technology.
