Job summary

PT CENTRAL ELEKTRINDO MANDIRI in Batam is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to build and manage our customer base across industrial segments. You will promote our test and measurement instruments and provide technical support.

The ideal candidate will have engineering education, sales experience with technical products, and strong communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English. You will travel for customer visits using your own transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Sales experience in technical products or industrial equipment is preferred.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
• Must have your own transport and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and market our full range of test and measurement instruments.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop, and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct customer visits to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and provide sales support.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, driven and customer-focused Sales Engineer to develop and manage our customer base in Batam.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and managing customer relationships across assigned all industrial market segments in Batam. You will promote and provide technical support for our wide range of test and measuring industrial products, working closely with customers, suppliers and principals to identify solutions that meet their technical and business requirements.
