Job summary

PT ARUNG LAUTAN JAYA in Jakarta seeks a Sales Executive in shipping to grow the client base for commodities like CPO, FAME, Pertamax and Pertalite. You will manage daily client communications, prepare quotations and visits, and maintain strong relationships across industries.

Collaboration with the Sales Manager and teams will drive strategy execution and new business while targeting ongoing client retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in shipping, forwarding, or logistics.
• B2B sales experience; experience with shipping and FAME commodities is a plus.
• Fluent in English with excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily communication with clients via calls, emails, and meetings.
• Prepare visit reports, sales quotations, and customer updates.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and internal teams to execute sales strategies.
• Retain existing customers and actively acquire new ones (hunting accounts).
