Role Description

The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable products or services to support sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include managing inquiries, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate sales records. The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction. This role also includes participating in promotional activities, gathering market feedback, and reporting on sales performance to help improve overall business results.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience with lead follow-up, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English and Indonesian, with clear and professional presentation abilities.
• Basic proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets) and familiarity with using CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple customer requests effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing customer and operational issues.
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred; a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
