Develop, implement, and maintain the SMK3 in line with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012, and drive readiness towards ISO 45001; own all safety policies, SOPs, and forms.
Maintain the legal register and compliance evaluation, and keep all statutory permits and inspections (SIA, SIO, SLO, Pertek) valid and documented for lifting equipment, generators, electrical and lightning protection, pressure vessels, and fire systems.
Lead the HIRADC process across all areas and ensure it is reviewed periodically and after any process change or incident.
Manage the Permit to Work system for hot work, working at height, confined space entry, excavation, electrical work, and lockout-tagout, including field verification of controls before and during the work.
Provide risk assessments for special activities such as pyrotechnic displays, compressed gas usage, and large-scale events.
Implement and oversee all six CSMS stages, from risk assessment and pre-qualification through to final performance evaluation.
Verify contractor legality, personnel competency, and equipment fitness; deliver contractor inductions; and audit contractor works across all properties.
Issue contractor HSE performance reports as the basis for continued engagement.
Ensure fire protection systems — extinguishers, hydrants, detection and alarm, and evacuation routes — remain adequate, serviceable, and maintained.
Maintain the Emergency Response Plan and response team structure, and lead evacuation exercises, fire simulations, and drills at the frequency required by regulation.
Oversee the storage, handling, and segregation of flammable materials and compressed gases (LPG, CNG, CO2, helium).
Maintain safety statistics, report HSE performance to management monthly, and ensure statutory reporting to the authorities
Deliver the annual training programme — induction, first aid, extinguisher use, JSA, HIRADC — supported by safety talks, toolbox meetings, and joint inspections.
Lead, coach, and evaluate the HSE team; ensure PPE is available and correctly used; and coordinate with Hygiene & Sanitation on occupational health, sanitation, waste, and water quality.
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field, with a valid AK3U certification from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower — mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, including 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably in hospitality, F&B, entertainment, or construction.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian OHS regulations (Law No. 1/1970, GR No. 50/2012), HIRADC, JSA, Permit to Work, incident investigation, CSMS, and management systems.
Experience handling high-risk operations and large-scale events, including pyrotechnics, crowd safety, external audits, and management system certification.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with strong Microsoft Office skills for reporting and documentation.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to enforce safety standards and make sound decisions under pressure; willing to work flexible hours.
First business in Bali was a travel company, Bali Res Centre but soon followed the vision for Semara Resort & Spa, in Seminyak. The Semara team project managed the design, construction and interiors of the boutique resort which included Cubby House Kids Club, Semara Spa, and The Deck Sports Bar. Semara Collection owned and managed this highly successful business until February 2015 when sold to a Singapore based company.
In 2011 Semara Collection added Semara Luxury Villa Resort and Finns Beach Club to the portfolio. This properties construction was not yet complete after 5 years. The Semara team completed the build and opened the resort and beach club by September 2011 (9 months).
This property currently remains under Semara management and is now recognized internationally as one of Bali’s best luxury villa properties, wedding venues and beach clubs.
The rapid growth has not slowed with the addition of Canggu Club in June 2013. Previously a member’s only club the leisure and entertainment venue now is open to the public.
Semara also owns and manages Semara Beach House, one of Bali’s original villa located absolute beachfront on Pantai Berawa, Canggu. It is at this same location that a new beach club is under name FINNS BEACH CLUB starting open on June 2016,
On 1st June 2017 CANGGU CLUB re branding to become FINNS RECREATION CLUB.

The Semara team project managed the design, construction and interiors of the boutique resort which included Cubby House Kids Club, Semara Spa, and The Deck Sports Bar. Semara Collection owned and managed this highly successful business until February 2015 when sold to a Singapore based company.
