Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and assigned areas to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and sanitize rooms and bathrooms.
• Report damages or maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Handle guest belongings with care and follow lost-and-found procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and privacy procedures.
• Respond to guest requests politely and professionally.
• Complete assigned rooms within required time and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas according to hotel standards, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.

Make beds, change bed linen, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.

Check room condition and report maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.

Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care and follow lost-and-found procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and work areas.

Replenish housekeeping supplies and guest amenities as required.

Follow hotel procedures for hygiene, safety, security, and guest privacy.

Respond politely and professionally to reasonable guest requests.

Complete assigned rooms within the required time and quality standards.

Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping staff is preferred.

Fresh graduates or candidates without hotel experience may be considered.

Good physical stamina and ability to work efficiently.

Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
