Job summary

PPG Industries in Jakarta is seeking a Raw Material Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting uninterrupted manufacturing. You will lead warehouse staff, drive Lean/5S, coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics, and ensure safety and ISO compliance.

Job description

As a Raw Material Warehouse Supervisor you’ll report to Plant Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• You will manage daily warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient warehouse workflows.
• Manage inventory control activities, including stock reconciliation, cycle counts, annual stock counts, and replenishment planning.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, 5S, ISO standards, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Kaizen, productivity improvement, and cost‑saving projects.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve service levels, productivity, and stock accuracy.
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA and warehouse systems to manage inventory, reporting, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, warehouse processes, and material replenishment.
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Knowledge of EHS practices and warehouse safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Not color blind and willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
